Welcome Messages

Vice Chancellor KDU

It gives me enormous pleasure to send this message wishing for a successful meeting. KDU is the first military medical school in Sri Lanka and our MBBS graduates (3 batches completed) are serving in various parts of the country and are well received by our specialists. This international congress is the first one hosted in our new state-of-the-art hospital and is of special significance. I warmly welcome the foreign & local faculties and congratulate our organizers for excellent arrangements.

It is my pleasure to speak a few lines of congratulations to our faculty team on this event. This is our first international medical conference on a kidney disease theme, a subject of great relevance at this moment. We welcome the faculties from USA & neighboring countries. I am sure this effort will be intellectually stimulating and professionally new. I thank all for the time & effort put in.

We wholeheartedly welcome the USA faculty and others from regional countries and our local faculties for this meeting. Renal Disease, Dialysis and Transplantation is of great relevance presently and hence the pre congress workshop to educate our renal nurses and dialysis technicians. We also have a workshop on Cancer. This meeting gives a great opportunity to our local specialists to exchange experiences and collaborate in research endeavors.

I hope you will take time off to taste a bit of our island paradise which has so much to offer. Our gratitude for spending your useful time to be with us in this intellectual exchange.
