General aim and format A poster is a graphically based approach to presenting research. Authors should aim to use the poster as a means for generating active discussion of the research. All posters to be Presented in English Only. Design and layout specifications Design and layout specifications
  • A banner displaying your poster title, names of authors, institutions, city and country of authors should be positioned at top-center of the board (see Figure 1). Provide the surnames of the author s to follow the initials (Example; AB Author).
  • Format should be Landscape and Poster panel dimensions: 3.5 feet (Length) X 2 feet (Height). One (01) inch border must be kept in all sides to fix the posters in supporting frames.
  • The Ideal space arrangement for the poster is
    • 40% Images and diagrams
    • 40% Empty space
    • 20% Text
  • Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster. The poster generally should read from left to right, and top to bottom. Numbering the individuals panels, or connecting them with arrows is a standard "guidance system" (see Figure 1).
